The Diet Solution Review

The Diet Solution is a program created by nutritionist and exercise and lifestyle coach Isabel De Los Rios from New Jersey. According to her, the goal of the diet program is to help individuals develop a long term eating strategy that will change their eating habits for the rest of their lives. The purpose of the program is change the way individuals eat permanently, and not just serve as a temporary solution to one’s diet. The Diet Solution is based on the types of metabolic activities and is categorized in to three groups. For each group, there are unique guidelines to be followed in order for the program to be effective. The first step in achieving and maintaining an ideal weight is to eat according to a person’s type of metabolism. The second step is to stay within the calorie range for the food you eat, and the third step is to eat high quality foods. Aside from diet plans, there are also exercise recommendations involved in the Diet Solution.  Alongside the diet plans and exercise training, The Diet Solution also aims in spreading the importance of awareness. If a person knows what is in the food, he can already make self assessments whether it is nutritionally healthy or not.

lose arm fat with the diet solution program

Based on many blog sites and forum threads there are mixed reactions as to whether The Diet Solution really works. On the positive side, many who have tried the program have seen the remarkable results of the diet plans and exercise training provided on the e-books and audio books. The meal plans include protein rich foods which maintain the muscle mass while reducing hunger while training. The intake of fruits and vegetables, omega-3 enriched foods, and water is highly encouraged in the program. In addition to the high quality food in the meal plans, the aspect of good nutrition and how food affects the body is also explained. The right amount of serving or food portion sizes is also explained in detail, making dieters aware of the both the content and the proper amount of food intake.

Although the product has received many praises from consumers, some nutrition experts are still in doubt about the effectiveness on the program. Some experts are questioning the idea of the metabolic type. And as for the diet plans, there are no vegetarian meals included in the product. Although the Diet Solution is based on the most recent scientific research and knowledge on nutrition and weight management, the results may take a little longer than most dieters expect.

In the long run, the Diet Solution is worth the investment if you want to live a longer and healthier lifestyle. Getting accustomed to the diet meal plans and exercise training requires a lot of patience and determination. The results are guaranteed not just for a short period of time, but if you continue following the guidelines based on the metabolism of your body, then you will surely live longer and healthier, with an increased knowledge and awareness on nutrition and health.

Get Rid of Arm Fat | In Two Weeks

May 17th, 2011 No comments

get rid of arm fat Hey Guys, thank again for checking out the site.  I found this great article by Myrna St. Romain, hope you find it helpful as much as I have.

Overview

When most people set a weight loss goal, it never seems to happen fast enough. However, there are ways to get rid of arm fat-as well as fat on other areas of the body in two weeks. It takes plenty of hard work and self-discipline but it can be accomplished. Consult a physician before beginning a regimented exercise program and restricted diet.

Step 1

Play the numbers game for how to get rid of arm fat. One pound of body fat is equivalent to 3,500 calories. To lose 1 lb a week, you have to have a deficit of 500 calories every day. To lose 2 lbs, subtract 1000 calories daily. The most you want to lose in two weeks is 4 lbs as anymore may compromise your health. This is achieved through a healthy diet in conjunction with a rigorous exercise program.

Step 2

Eat small, frequent meals throughout the day. Forget the notion of eating three large meals per day. Eating five or six smaller meals helps regulate blood glucose levels, inhibits cortisol production, suppresses appetite and keeps your metabolism revved up throughout the day. Also, consume nutrient dense foods that are low in calories, sugar and sodium.

Step 3

Reduce arm fat with aerobic exercise. This can be any activity you enjoy such as kickboxing, swimming, dancing, jogging, elliptical training and bicycling. Aerobic exercise is essential to getting rid of arm fat over a two week time span. Aim for at least 60 to 90 minutes of cardio, five days per week.

Step 4

Increase calorie burning power with interval training. This is where you sharply increase your heart rate then lower it quickly. It can be accomplished with any cardio exercises or mix of activities. You could bicycle on a hilly route where you work hard to climb the hill then coast down. If you like to jog, you can run for three minutes then walk for three. This cycle should continue for at least 20 to 30 minutes.

Step 5

Incorporate strength training into any weight loss regimen. If you want to lose arm fat in two weeks, you must include specific exercises that strengthen arm muscles. Increasing muscle mass will raise your resting metabolic rate and give your arms a leaner appearance. Pick exercises like Close Grip Bench Press, Shoulder Press and Bicep Curls to work all of your major muscle groups in your arm. There you go, 5 Steps to help you lose body fat in as little as two weeks. A little heads-up before you start, the hardest part you’re probably going to face is a diet to follow. Get Rid of Arm Fat – How I Did It

March 30th, 2011 No comments

arm flabHey Caroll Here,

If you’re looking to get rid of arm fat, then I’m glad you’ve found this website and I strongly suggest you keep reading…

Because this is my uncensored how to get rid of arm fat story.  The ups, and downs, what stuff didn’t work and finally the one thing that did help me achieve my personal goal of losing my arm fat and lowering my body fat overall.

I just want to start out by saying I’m not an weight loss or exercise expert/guru of any kind.  I’m just a stay at home mom with three kids who was struggling to lose fat especially around the arms and found something that helped me lose the arm fat and an extra 42lbs in Three Months.  O.K. with that said there is some thing most people are going to have to accept before they can start their fat loss journey, and that is:

There is absolutely no way to target specific area of fat. Period.

If this is your first time hearing this it can be a bit of a shock, but it’s true. When you lose fat, you lose it evenly throughout your entire body.
Every Body is different, some body parts hold higher amounts of fat than others.
Let’s say you start losing fat. You may notice your legs becoming very defined, but your arms still looked “flabby”. If you kept losing fat, eventually your arms will look defined as well.

For me, the fat on my arms and midsection were the problem.  Before I found out the solution to my problem, I was trying out every fad diet, and exercise know to man.  I went from extreme diets (basically starving myself) to the Atkins diet, South Beach Diet, and crazy Tae-Bo aerobics classes, but nothing was really working..

I still had my “flabby arms” and a huge bulge in my midsection.  I thought I was destined to have my arms flapping about every time I walked anywhere.  I was at my lowest point, but I didn’t want give up like I used to do, I was determined to find an answer and I finally found one. It came in the form of an email from my sister, she’s been watching me struggle with my weight for a long time and has always been there to support me. So when she was watching Oprah one day and they were talking about a lady named Isabel De Los Rios creator of “The Diet Solution” and certified nutritionist, she just had to tell me.

You wouldn’t believe how happy I was that she did, because in just three months following The Diet Solution I’ve been able to lose 42lbs and go from 35% body fat down to 19%.  If you’re sick of all of these “fad” diets that make big claims but don’t deliver and if you’re sick of being bombarded by misinformation, then you may want to consider what Isabel Del Rios, the creator of The Diet Solution Program and certified nutritionist, has to say.

Surprisingly, Del Rios claims that cutting carbs, eating low fat foods, and counting calories is more or less useless. It won’t help you lose weight. It won’t make you feel healthier. To the contrary, she claims that “you must eat lots of food in order to [lose weight].”

It may sound strange, but this is the essence of the “The Diet Solution Program”: it encourages you to find your metabolic type and tailor a diet to that type, rather than using a one-size-fits-all fad diet. In fact, it starts by asking you to fill out a survey, so that you can determine your metabolic type and then use it throughout the remainder of the program.

You can find a full run-down of the benefits of Del Rios’s diet here: http://www.thedietsolutionprogram.com. The 180-page diet manual comes with a number of bonuses, including a list of useful recipes, a quick start guide, and a suggested training regimen to sculpt your midsection.

It’s important to note that Del Rios, unlike many of her contemporaries, is an actual certified nutritionist. She graduated from the University of Rutgers with a degree in exercise physiology and is certified by the NSCA as a Strength and Conditioning Expert.

Of course, this is also true of many fad diet creators, so it should not be enough information to silence your skepticism. Indeed, her credentials alone haven’t been enough to silence the multitude of critics who have raised questions about the program.

Diet Solution Program Criticism

Some who criticize The Diet Solution Program suggest that it falsely attempts to de-legitimize useful dieting techniques, such as reducing fat intake and counting calories. Others who criticize it argue that it focuses too much on holistic strategies for weight loss-and completely ignores the ones that are backed by rigorous scientific evidence.

At the end of the day, the choice is yours: you can continue on your current track, you can try a fad diet, you can adopt the supposedly “tried and true” method of calorie cutting and exercise, or you can give The Diet Program Solution a try.

Finally, if you do decide to use The Diet Program Solution, don’t expect massive weight loss results overnight. By its own admission, you can expect to lose as much as 15-20 pounds over the course of six weeks.

While 42lbs pounds in a little over 3 months is certainly nothing to scoff it, it falls well short of the seemingly impossible weight loss promises you’ll find from other fad diets. And perhaps that’s what people find so attractive about the Diet Solution Program.

I know it get rid of arm fatwas a bit of a long read, but I just had to spread the news, and if you do decided to get “The Diet Solution” then I truly wish from the bottom of my heart that you not only achieve your goals, but exceed them. So get to it, Get Rid of Arm Fat and any other problem areas you may have.

How to Get Rid of Arm Fat – Exercises

March 29th, 2011 No comments

get rid of arm fatHERE are how to get rid of arm fat exercises.

For Beginners who don’t know what Sets, Reps, and Rest between Sets mean here’s a quick explanation.

Reps is short for repetitions.  A repetition is one complete movement through an exercise.   A simple bicep curl is a great example. You curl your arm up, and then back down.  That’s one rep. The lifting phase of a rep is called the concentric phase, and the lowering part is called the eccentric phase.  You won’t hear these terms as often, but they’re good to know when you do.

A Set is a group of repetitions.   A typical set will be anywhere from eight to twenty reps, although many programs use sets that are around ten to twelve.  The idea behind a set is to use a weight that will fatigue the muscle or muscle group that you’re exercising by the end of the set.
One thing to know about sets is that some programs utilize a rest period in between sets. This is how long you “relax” in between sets.   A typical rest period is between thirty and ninety seconds.

Now that you know what the terms mean, do each exercise for 3 Sets for 10-12 Reps with 30 seconds rest between Sets.  The last few reps in each set should be difficult.

Lateral Raises

Stand with your feet hip-width apart, abs in and torso upright with medium weights resting in front of thighs, your palms facing the thighs.  Lift the arms up to shoulder level, keeping the elbows slightly bent and lower.  Immediately lift arms straight out to the sides to shoulder level.  An easier version of this is to keep the elbows bent in a 90-degree angle, and lift and lower.  This is great for toning your shoulders and back.

Chair dip

Sit on the edge of a chair and grip the edge, with your knuckles facing out and your arms straight. Your knees should be at a 90-degree angle.  Then lower your body down towards the floor until your shoulders line up with your elbows. Raise and repeat.  This exercise will tone your triceps.

Chest Press

The chest press shapes the muscles around your shoulders and chest.  To do it, lie on the floor with your abs contracted and your back flat.  Begin with the weights straight up over chest and elbows slightly bent.  Bend the elbows and lower arms no lower than shoulders, making your arms look like a goal post.  Contract the chest and push arms up.

Triceps Kickbacks

Another exercise great for toning the back of your arms.  Stand with your fit hip-width apart and tip forward from the hips, keeping your back flat and abs in until your torso is parallel to the floor.  Start with your elbows bent and pulled up to ribcage. Tighten the triceps and then straighten the elbow, bringing weights up behind you.  Lower back down and repeat.

Bicep Curls

This exercise will help you to build stronger biceps.  Stand with feet hip-width apart, keeping your torso straight and abs in. Hold the weights at sides, palms facing up.  Bend elbows, bringing weights towards the shoulders in a curl, then lower back down

Overhead press

This exercise will help you tone your shoulders.  Stand with your feet hip-width apart. Lift the arms to shoulder level, and then press the weights towards the ceiling until you get a full extension of the arms.  You can either keep your palms facing inward, towards each other, or outward, facing front.

Push-ups

The push-up is an excellent exercise not only for the arms, shoulders, and chest, but also for the abs as well.  You can do an advanced push-up, on your toes, or a modified version on your knees.

These are some of the best ways on how to get rid of arm fat.  When done regularly and in conjunction with cardio to burn fat, these exercises will give you toned arms in no time.  Do this routine every other day 3 times a week, so maybe Mon,Wed,Fri and rest Sat, Sun, or switch it up it’s up to you.

Remember that exercising is only half the battle against losing weight, dieting is the other half. If you’re struggling with your diet let me suggest you check out “The Diet Solution“.  It’s the program I’ve been on for months now which has helped me lose 42lbs body fat during that time.  So if your interested click the link below to visit the official site.
